CHAPTER #1-Kelly's got beat.
"Kell, you going to school today?" Screams her mom.
Kelly, also known as kell is a typical 18 year old who is confused, angry and fed up with what to do with her life,
Her parents are both working and rarely care about what she and her sister Kim are upto , this leaves Kelly and her sister feeling lonely, confused and devastated.
Kelly and her sister though share a special relationship,
They've always got their backs and helped each other out in time of confusion.
But the problem starts when Kim gets selected for a university in Boston, and moves out leaving Kelly all by herself who tries to pull herself together by spending more time with her mother and father, yet she calls her sister often when in problem. "Kelly I'm getting late for work! Do you want me to leave you at home?"
"Coming!, just a sec!" Shouts Kelly from her room, looking in the mirror before going to school as usual, staring at herself and thinking of what she is going to do next ,now that her sister is gone, whom will she appeal to? How will she move on?
How can She? her sister was her best friend.
she lazily picks up her bag and drags it downstairs where her mom is waiting impatiently for her to arrive.
"What took you so long!" She said angrily, "you know I'm getting late for work!"
"I know, I was…………”
her mom interrupts her,"there is no time for that now, get into the car, I'll drop you off. come on hurry up!”
Kelly gets in the car and thinks to herself about how her day might be, with only a month left for graduation and she was confused as to what she would become in her life, she was a straight A student yet she was confused of what to do, should she join the same university as her sister? But what if her sister graduates the next year?. unlike most children Kelly wanted to join collage immediately after graduation as the faster she got her degree the faster she could get a job and be an independent woman.
